Christina Wright was born in 1870 in Manchester, England – the daughter of William Thomson Wright, a joiner, and Mary Cowan. (See 114 M Wright)
She emigrated to Otago with her family in 1874 on the Nelson and they settled in Dunedin.
When Christina signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Clyde St, Roslyn working as a tailoress.
She married Peter Yule Wallace, a carpenter, at her home on 28 December 1893 and they had two children.
Peter died in 1925 and Christina died on 18 September 1927, they are buried together in the Southern Cemetery.
