Biography contributed by Helen Edwards.
Colina Rebecca Campbell was born in Strathbungo, Renfrewshire, Scotland on 27 October 1854. Her parents were Elizabeth Campbell and Archibald, a cabinet maker. She married John Bonnar/Bonar Forman on 2 December 1879, in Cathcart, Renfrewshire. John was a carpenter, born in 1855 at Hutchesontown, Glasgow. He was the son of John Calder Forman and Martha Miller. Colina and John emigrated about 1885, probably with two daughters. Two more children were born in Dunedin, in 1887 and 1895. In 1893 they were living in Forth street, Roslyn (now Walton Street), and in 1900 they were in King Street, Roslyn. They were living at 34 Greenock Street, still in the same neighbourhood, when they died within a year of each other, John in 1935, and Colina in 1936, at the age of 81. They are buried together in Andersons Bay Cemetery, Dunedin.
