Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley

Evelina Annie Chettleburgh was born in 1871 in London – the daughter of John Chettleburgh and Annie Pearton. (See 124 Mrs Chettleburgh)

She emigrated to Otago in 1875 on the Adamant with her family and they settled in Dunedin.

When Evelina signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Grendon, Maori Hill.

Evelina married Colin Campbell in 1893 and they had two sons. She died on 4 April 1912 in Christchurch and is buried with her parents in the Northern Cemetery, Dunedin.

When Colin died is unclear.
