Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley.

Previously transcribed as E Carrie.

Euphemia Robertson was born about 1834 in Fifeshire, Scotland, the daughter of Alexander Robertson and Anne.

She married Adam Currie on March 4th 1862 at Langlees near Dunfermline in Fifeshire, and soon after they appear to have emigrated to New Zealand.

They settled in Palmerston in North Otago where Adam worked as a carpenter and Euphemia signed the suffrage petition.

Adam died at their home Ayton Cottage in 1912, and Euphemia died on August 28th 1917 in Waikouaiti.

They are buried together in the Palmerston Cemetery.
