Elizabeth Foster was born about 1831.
She married widower Robert Simmons/Simmonds in 1884, and they lived in Waikouaiti where Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition.
Elizabeth died at her home on July 23rd 1899. She is buried in the St John’s Anglican Cemetery, Waikouaiti.
Robert died in the Dunedin Benevolent Institution in 1909. He is buried in the Northern Cemetery, Dunedin.
