Elizabeth Howorth was born in 1859 in New Zealand – the daughter of George Howorth, a Customs Officer, and Sarah Mottram.
Elizabeth did not marry and when she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her parents in Eglington Rd, Mornington, Dunedin.
She died on 10 March 1941 in Wellington and she was cremated.
