This is probably Emma Jane Trickett, wife of Charles Edward Trickett. Charles was the son of Henry Trickett, who named the area of West Melton in Canterbury after his hometown in England when he settled there with wife Hannah in 1863. Emma died 29 October 1939.

The Emma Jane Trickett who signed the petition alongside her mother was the second eldest daughter of Hannah Huntingdon and Henry Trickett, born in New Zealand in 1859 (1859/9885 Trickett Emma Jane Hannah Henry). She appears with her mother Hannah 2778 on the 1893 Electoral Roll as number 2779. The eldest daughter, Annie Elizabeth, married Charles Edward Walker in 1882 and appears in the petition as A. E. Walker page 220.
OBITUARY After a brief illness the death of Emma Jane Trickett occurred recently at her home at West Melton. Miss Trickett was born at Riccarton, and was the third daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Henry Trickett Press, Volume LXXV, Issue 22864, 10 November 1939, Page 2
There is no marriage of an Emma Jane with Charles Edward Trickett, There is no marriage for a Charles Edward Trickett.
