Eliza Volittie or Violette Jones was born about 1864.
It is unclear where she met/married baker, William Jones.
They had three daughters between 1881 and 1896 – one daughter died in infancy.
When Eliza signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Greymouth.
William died in 1906 and Eliza died on 3 October 1913 – they are buried with two of their daughters in the Karoro Cemetery.
