Elizabeth Isabella Waldie was born in 1868 in New Zealand – the daughter of John Waldie, a draper, and Isabella Cameron.
When Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Reid Road, South Dunedin working as a tailoress.
Elizabeth did not marry - she died on 15 June 1935 at her sister’s home in Riverton in Southland.
She is buried in Dunedin – probably in the family grave in the Southern Cemetery.
