Eliza Collings

This could be the signature of a woman born Sarah Elizabeth Smith in 1849 in Nottinghamshire, who married a Charles Alexander Collings in New Zealand in 1869. Eliza Collings is one of two people of that name to appear on the Auckland electoral roll in the early years of the 20th century after women obtained the right to vote in 1893. Charles and Eliza had at least five children, with Charles working as a butcher both in Auckland and then in Waikino in the Waikato after the family moved there in the early 1900s.
