Eliza Wilkinson was born in 1871 in New Zealand – the daughter of Alfred Wilkinson, an engineer, and Elizabeth Collins. (See 85 Elizabeth Wilkinson)
When she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Eden St, Dunedin.
Eliza married James Riley, a coal merchant, on 25 December 1899 and they had two children.
James died at his home in London St, Dunedin in 1933, he is buried in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
An Eliza Riley died and was cremated in Wanganui in August 1965, aged 92 – this is possibly Eliza Wilkinson.
