Elizabeth Trezise was born about 1849 in Cornwall, England.

She emigrated to New Zealand, then married Duncan Campbell, a partner in the Campbell & Crust express company, on April 27th 1871 in Dunedin.

They had six children before Duncan died in 1883.

When Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition she was living with her daughter in Russell Street.

Elizabeth died on February 19th 1932. She is buried with Duncan and their daughter in the Northern Cemetery.
