Elizabeth Jane Brown was born about 1868 in New Zealand.

She married William Dunn, a bootmaker, in 1887 and they had six children.

When Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition they were living in Kelvin St, Mornington, Dunedin.

Elizabeth died at her home on 4 November 1936 and William died the following year – they are buried with their daughter in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
