Mary Elizabeth MacDonald/McDonald was born in 1867 in New Zealand – the daughter of John MacDonald, a stonecutter, & Martha Galton.
When Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Cumberland St, Dunedin.
She travelled to England where she married George Hopkins, in 1898 in London - they had 3 children.
What happened to Elizabeth in later life is unclear.
