Elizabeth Malcolm Patrick was born in 1871 in New Zealand – the daughter of James Patrick, a baker, and Catherine Davidson Malcolm (See 93 Catherine Patrick). When Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Great King St, Dunedin.

She married baker James Walker in September 1894 and they had a daughter the following year.

Elizabeth died at her home on 11 June 1895, aged 24.

James re-married in 1897 and had another daughter.

Elizabeth and James’ daughter died in 1900 when she stepped in front of a cart and was run over, she is buried with her mother in the Northern Cemetery.

It is not known what happened to James in later life.
