Elizabeth Wilson was born in 1861 in Victoria, Australia – the daughter of Peter Wilson & Elizabeth McNab. (See 160 E Wilson)

She came to Otago with her family as an infant & they settled in Dunedin.

Elizabeth married, merchant, James Proctor at her home in 1882.

They had 7 children and when Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition they were living in Forth St, Linden in Roslyn.

Elizabeth died at her home on June 25th 1927 and James died soon after on July 29th – they are buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
