Elizabeth Emily Heskett was born about 1850 in England.

She came to New Zealand in the early 1870’s where she married William Charles Pym in 1876.

They had two children and when Elizabeth signed the suffrage petiton the family were living in Harbour Terrace, Dunedin.

William died in the Dunedin Hospital in 1893 – he is buried in the Northern Cemetery.

Elizabeth died on 2 November 1934 – she is buried with her daughter in law in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
