I am delighted to see my Great Grandmother on the list.
She was a resourceful independent woman. Widowed early, 11 years after arriving in Dunedin. She was a methodist and didn't knit on Sundays, she saved and returned to Weardale, Durham when her Mother died in the 1900s. I have photos and she looks redoubtable
