Biographical information provided by Briar Barry for the He Tohu exhibition:
Ella, the daughter of Charles and Louisa Denton, was born in 1873. Ella, two brothers and a sister are registered on the original Cambridge West School Roll (1880). Later Ella married John Looker and raised four children: Victor, Olive, Alan and John. Many of her descendants still live in Cambridge today.
