Agnes Emily Evans was born in 1863 in New Zealand – the daughter of Samuel Evans, a draper, and Mary Ann Steele. (See 150 Mrs M A Evans)
When Agnes signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Andersons Bay, Dunedin.
She did not marry and she died on 23 July 1942 at her nephew’s home in Andersons Bay.
She is buried with her sister in the Northern Cemetery.
