Grace Anderson was born about 1864 in Ireland.
In 1891 she was living with her sister Susan and widowed mother Jane in Glasgow, Scotland.
Soon after this the sisters emigrated to New Zealand where their elder sister Agnes was living.
When they signed the suffrage petition the sisters were living in Timaru, working as a boot machinist and a boot fitter.
Susan died on September 4th 1946 and Grace died on December 7th 1954. They are buried together in the Timaru Cemetery.
