Hannah McDermid/McDermott was born about 1835, she married Henry Faithfull in Victoria, Australia in 1850.
They had five children in Australia, two dying in infancy. In about 1862 the family moved to Dunedin and settled in Maitland St, where Hannah would sign the suffrage petition. Her daughter Mary Ann also signed the petition.
Hannah died on 2 September 1895 at Maitland St and Henry died in 1909.
