Harriet Passmore (formerly Roberts nee Kemp) came to New Zealand in 1859 on the ship 'Mystery' and was the wife then of William John Roberts a Deal Boatman. William John Roberts died 21 November 1866 in Timaru and she married Sylvester John Passmore in 1871. Harriet died in Timaru 27 August 1900. The signature directly above hers, is her daughter Harriet Ann Smith (nee Roberts).
