Harriett Amy Hicks was born in 1871 in New Zealand – the daughter of Henry Hicks and, a farmer, Adelaide Martens. (See 86 Adelaide Hicks)
Her father died in 1884 as the result of an accident and when Harriett signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Factory Rd, Mosgiel working in a factory.
She married Jeremiah Francis Healey in 1895 and when her mother died in 1930 they were living in Sydney.
Where and when she died is unknown.
