Helen/Ellen McConachy was born about 1854.
She married John Finch, a farmer and widower with 10 children in 1892.
They had four children and when Helen signed the suffrage petition they were living at Milburn, near Milton.
John died at their home in 1921 and Helen died on 25 October 1931 at her son’s home in Milton, they are buried in the Fairfax Cemetery, Milton.
