Biographical information provided by Briar Barry for the He Tohu exhibition:
Helen Mary Judge was born at Pauatahanui in 1862. She married Arthur Goldfinch on 7 December 1881 in Wellington. Arthur and Helen had six children, but their fourth child, Elsie Evaline, died in 1896, aged seven. The family lived on Duke St in Feilding. Helen died in 1949, aged 87.
