Isabella Fyfe was born in 1868 in New Zealand – the daughter of Thomas Webster Fyfe, a painter, and Jane Craigie. 

When Isabella signed the suffrage petition she was living at Gleniti near Timaru. 

She married, draper, William Corbet in 1906 and they lived in Westport. 

Isabella died at her parents home on 11 August 1912 – she is buried with her sister in the Timaru Cemetery. 

William re-married the following year – he died in 1955 and his ashes were interred in the Canterbury Memorial Gardens.
