Isabella Agnes Colyer was born in 1870 in Invercargill – the daughter of James Colyer and Jessie Keith Rose. (See 341 Jessie K R Colyer)

When Isabella was young her family moved from Invercargill to farm on Colyer’s Island near Bluff where she signed the suffrage petition.

Isabella died at Orokonui Home near Dunedin on 6 September 1951, she is buried in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
