Isabella Dow was born on 30 November 1844 in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, Scotland – the daughter of Robert Dow, a carpenter, and Mary Alexander. (See 58 Mrs Dow)
She lived with her parents in Duncan St, Dunedin where she signed the suffrage petition.
Isabella did not marry. After her parent’s death she remained living in Duncan St with her sisters Janet, Jane and Margaret.
She died on 13 January 1923 and is buried with her sister Margaret in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
