Isabella Mary Paterson was born about 1868.
When she signed the suffrage petition she was living in Ngapara in North Otago.
She married Thomas Parker, a station hand, in 1895 and they had six children.
The family lived at Horseshoe Bend, Tuapeka then in Millers Flat where Thomas worked as a dredge hand.
Isabella died on 17 December 1933 at her daughter’s home in Duntroon and Thomas died in 1945 in Oamaru.
They are buried together in the Duntroon Cemetery.
