Isabella Robertson was born in 1869 in New Zealand – the daughter of Thomas Robertson, a blacksmith, and Helen White. (See 149 Mrs Robertson)

When Isabella signed the suffrage petition she was living with her widowed mother in Selwyn Rd, North East Valley, Dunedin working as a machinist.

Isabella was still living in Selwyn Rd in 1896 but her life after this is unclear.
