Isabella Roy was born in 1867 in New Zealand — the daughter of James Roy, a ploughman, and Margaret Bagrie. (See 110 Maggie Roy)
When she signed the suffrage petition Isabella was living on the family farm at Wairuna in South Otago.
She married Samuel Hagan, a farmer, in November 1904 at Wairuna.
They had one child who died either at birth or in infancy.
Samuel died at Wairuna in 1919, Isabella later moved to Dunedin where she died on 30 August 1924.
She is buried with Samuel in the Clinton Cemetery.
