Isabella Scott was born about 1861 in Dunedin.

She married Philip Bremner, a teacher, on January 1st 1883 in the Waitati parish.

They had 6 children and lived in Tuapeka Flat, Merton and Goodwood, near Palmerston, where Isabella signed the suffrage petition.

They later lived in Hyde and Flag Swamp before retiring to Dunedin where Philip died in 1921.

Isabella died on April 26th 1940. She is buried with Philip in the family grave in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
