Isabella Gibson was born about 1845 in Aberdeen, Scotland.
She married Robert Scott, a carpenter and builder, in 1872 in New Zealand. They had 10 children and lived in Outram on the Taieri Plains near Dunedin. Robert died in 1910. He is buried in the Scott family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
Isabella died on 22 April 1922 and she is buried in the West Taieri Cemetery.
