Jane Harriet Harris was born about 1821 in Ireland, the daughter of William Harris. She married John Thompson on 20 April 1850 at St Peters, Dublin, Ireland.
At least two sons were born before Jane married George Mooney on 12 April 1864 also at St Peters, Dublin.
Jane’s son Charles arrived in New Zealand about 1881 and she may have arrived then also.
Jane died on 10 September 1907, she is buried in the Northern Cemetery with her family.
