Jane Renwick married James Kilgour, a Scottish migrant, in Mosgiel in 1878, and they later settled in Oamaru. They had six children. Jane was widowed in 1894. She had a house at 5 Trent St, and later moved to Humber St, where she lived until her death in 1931 aged 75.
