Jane Somerville Rutherford (born Dublin 1860, died Dunedin 1928) married Andrew John Park in Kaitangata in 1882, and had three children. She and her daughter Kathleen May Park (b. 1884) were passengers on the Mataura when it was wrecked in Magellan Straits in January 1898 (ODT 5 April 1898).
