Janet Gunn Harvey was born about 1859 in New Zealand – the daughter of Robert Harvey & Mary Gunn.
Janet grew up on the family farm at Woodside, West Taieri, south of Dunedin where she signed the suffrage petition.
Janet did not marry – she died on 26 November 1945 in Dunedin and is buried in the family grave in the West Taieri Cemetery.
