Jeanie was born on the Skippers gold fields about 1870 – the daughter of Robert Davidson and Jane McCosh. (See 107 Jane Davidson senr)
She moved to Queenstown with her family when she was young and was living there with her family when she signed the suffrage petition.
Jane married Alexander Boyne, a carpenter, on 8 December 1898 in Queenstown and they had two children.
Alexander died at their home in 1924 and Jane died on 20 December 1950, they are buried together in the Queenstown Cemetery.
