Jessie Mason was born about 1866 in New Zealand – the daughter of Janet Mason.
Jessie did not marry and when she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Elm Row, Dunedin.
Jessie died on 25 August 1942 and is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
