Catherine/Katie Catherwood was born in 1865 in New Zealand the daughter of Alfred Catherwood, a farmer, and Isabella Hutchison. (See 137 I Catherwood)
When Catherine signed the suffrage petition she was living with her parents in the Owaka district.
She died in May 1944 in Whanganui and is buried in the Aramoho Cemetery near her brother Robert.
