Catherine Elizabeth Daly was born on 13 December 1869 in Waitahuna, Otago – the daughter of James Daly, a police officer, and Anna Maria Haydon. (See 62 Annie M Daly)
When she signed the suffrage petition Catherine was living with her widowed mother at the Metropole Hotel in St Clair, Dunedin.
She married George William Price on 16 April 1906 at St Joseph’s Cathedral & they had three children.
George died in 1942 and Catherine died on 16 March 1951, they are buried in the Daly family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
