Lillian Wallace was born in 1870 in New Zealand – the daughter of John Wallace, a grocer, and Mary Sinclair. (See 98 Mary Wallace)

Lillian did not marry and when she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Albany St, Dunedin working as a photographer’s assistant.

She died on 22 February 1951 and is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
