Annie Don was born about 1854.
She married butcher Hugh Lamont on 27 September 1892 in Dunedin.
They had a butcher’s shop in Arthur Street where Annie signed the suffrage petition.
She died on 22 June 1896 and Hugh died in 1921 – they are buried together in the Northern Cemetery.
