Elizabeth/Lellie Willans Morley was born in 1873 in Blenheim, New Zealand – the daughter of Richard Widdowson Morley, a schoolmaster, and Eliza Sinclair McHutcheson. (See 294 E S Morley)

As a child she moved with her parents to England where her father became a Congregational Minister.

He died in Tasmania in 1887 and when Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition she was living with her mother in Oamaru.

She died not marry, she died in Adelaide, South Australia in 1939.
