Letitia was born on 15 May 1871 in Londonderry, Ireland – the daughter of James Reid, an agricultural labourer, and Louisa Connor. (See 51 Louisa Reid)
She emigrated to Otago in 1874 on the Jessie Readman with her family and they settled in Dunedin.
When Letitia signed the suffrage petition she was living in King St, Dunedin with her family.
She did not marry and she died on 19 March 1929.
She is buried with her parents in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
