Eliza/Lizzie Fox was born on 27 April 1869 in Glasgow, Scotland – the daughter of Hugh Fox and Jane Bulloch. (See 139 Mrs Fox)
Lizzie emigrated to Otago with her parents and three siblings in 1872 on the May Queen.
She lived with her parents in Peter St, Caversham where she signed the suffrage petition and worked as a knitter.
She died on 16 October 1940 and is buried in the family grave in the Southern Cemetery.
