Annie Maria Louisa Henderson was born in 1881 in New Zealand – the daughter of Peter Henderson, a carrier, and Mary Hynes. (See 62 Mary Henderson)
She spent her early life in Arrowtown & when she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her parents in Athol Place, Dunedin.
The family moved back to Arrowtown where Annie /Louisa married Stewart Stevenson, a tailor, on 8 May 1901 in the local Wesleyan Church.
They had eight children and in 1926 they moved to Beaumont in South Otago.
They later moved to Dunedin where Annie died on 24 June 1936.
Stewart died in 1966, they are buried together in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
