Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley

Margaret Beverley Wilson was born in 1871 in New Zealand – the daughter of Andrew Smith Wilson and Margaret Matheson.

When Margaret signed the suffrage petition she was living in Grange St, Dunedin either near or with her sister Jessie who also signed the petition. (See 59 Mrs McFarlane)

Margaret married John Alexander Pullar, a railway surfaceman, in 1901 and they had two sons.

The family lived in Waitati, north of Dunedin.

Margaret died in Lawrence, Central Otago on 13 July 1950 and John died in 1964, they were both cremated and their ashes scattered.
