Margaret McMyn Stewart was born in 1870 in Milton – the daughter of Edward Stewart, a draper, and Catherine Barrie Duff. (See 104 Kate Stewart)
When she signed the suffrage petition Margaret was living with her family in Milton working as a milliner.
She died at her home in Milton on 17 May 1920 and is buried in the family grave in the Fairfax Cemetery, Milton.
